Design engineer in Hamburg. I design and build software, take photos, and care about how things work, look, and feel.

2025 · Flip Livestream

One of my favorite projects at Flip was Livestream, a feature that lets company leaders broadcast live events to employees who don’t work at a desk. I led the design from an early hackathon concept through its first release.

Part of the fun was using Livestream as we built it. Test broadcasts with colleagues revealed how hard it was to watch the video and follow the chat at once. I designed a studio view that put them side by side.

2025 · Flip Absences

I designed Flip Absences for web and mobile, bringing leave balances, requests, and approvals into one experience. Employees can check their remaining leave, plan time off, and track the status of their requests.

2024 · Zaikio Shopfloor

I designed an iPad app that brings production management directly to the factory floor. Built around printing workflows, it gives operators the information they need to complete worksteps, track production time, and report output and waste.

2023 · Zaikio Keyline

Keyline is production management software for the printing industry. Its interface was outdated and maintained independently from the wider Zaikio Design System.

I redesigned and implemented the frontend using shared components with a dedicated Keyline theme, preserving the product’s identity and established workflows. The implementation involved Ruby on Rails, Tailwind, JavaScript, and supporting backend changes.

2020 · DNV GL PUBLICATIONS

I designed three digital publications for DNV GL, exploring the maritime world and emerging technologies across energy, healthcare, food, and beyond.

Maritime Impact article about designing the future of cruise, with editorial text and ship photography

The ambition was to turn complex information into something people wanted to explore.
